Onward vs. GoFundMe for Nonprofit Fundraisers
GoFundMe is built for collecting donations quickly, for people and causes alike; Onward is built for nonprofits that want a fundraiser tied to their page, sponsors and supporters, with gifts going straight to the nonprofit through the donation tool it already uses.

When GoFundMe is the better pick: an urgent need where you want to take donations in minutes, or a fundraiser for a person rather than a nonprofit.
When Onward is the better pick: a nonprofit fundraiser where you want local businesses to match gifts, supporters to rally around it, and every gift to land in your own account.
The best part: you can use both. Already raising on GoFundMe? Point your Onward fundraiser's donate button to it. GoFundMe handles the giving; Onward adds business matches, sponsors and a community cheering it on.
