What does it cost?+
Nothing. Everything you see on Onward today is free, and it stays free. If we add paid tools later, they’ll be new, optional extras; nothing you use now will move behind a paywall.
Can we put it on our own website?+
Yes. Copy one line from your Manage page and paste it into your site (Squarespace, Wix, WordPress and most others). Your supporter wall, events, fundraiser or community feed shows there and stays up to date.
Do volunteers and guests need an account?+
No. People can RSVP or sign up for a shift with just their name and email. They get a confirmation and a reminder, and can join Onward later to keep their hours.
Does Onward handle our donations?+
No. Gifts go directly to you, through your own donate link. Onward shows the giving; it never touches the money.
Some of our donors give privately.+
They choose how their giving shows: name and amounts, name only, or hidden. You decide how your supporter list reads.
Does listing a business mean we endorse it?+
No. Your page shows who supports you, not a recommendation. You approve every supporter before they appear.
We're not a 501(c)(3).+
Foundations, schools, PTAs, clubs, congregations, civic groups, neighborhood associations and projects under a fiscal sponsor are all welcome. Only IRS-registered charities carry the Verified badge.
